Circle of Friends - Brillante Weblog Award

Imagine, I had to re-do this again now because the first time I got an award from Siella I didn't manage to give this award back to my friends. Got the second one from Yenzz yesterday which I didn't manage too, and now from Melissa... Well, have to do something about it. Becoming A Full-Time Blogger

Blogging is pretty much enjoyable, fantastic to have been able to relate with other bloggers - they get ideas from you and vise versa, and making friends around is amazing. In my two months of blogging, it has really been very rewarding for me to earn money, well not just that, I mean reaching my potential to be a very good writer and a story teller makes a lot for me, and to have loads of friends.

There was never a day that I don't talk to my friends online, though I've been busy at work, but I always try to make an effort to even just say hello, making their day makes me feel wonderful. My friends are growing so fast, which I really feel sad not to be to talk to them sometimes. Then again, I never stopped wishing to be a full-time blogger. At the beginning, it was just a hobby feeling I had, but now my passion in blogging grows more and more everyday. Has it something to do of being addicted to blogging? I remember I wrote something about it, hope you can read it (just click the link above).

Anyway, I came across to read this inspirational story of the Mac Rumors - My Son, the Blogger: An M.D. Trades Medicine for Apple Rumors, really inspires me.

On the Internet, traffic equals power, which subsequently equals money.””

Nothing wrong if I one day I decide to stop working and just concentrate on blogging.

My Family - My Inspiration

When I first arrived here in Angola (long before I met my husband), I was so focused on my plans for my family. Imagine my life as a young 21 year old woman, who managed to prove that despite of my age, I could still be responsible for myself and my to do my job as an Accounting Assistant back then. You know being away from families and friends, and being stocked in the middle of nowhere without much friends to rely on, I used to wonder and think what would have been my life of staying in this place, aside from my inspiration - which is my family.

Then one day big trials came, I didn't know I was going to bump into it, as a young woman who was feeling vulnerable with the politics between the Filipinos. Sounds familiar?, that instead of helping each other, there we were, fighting each other. What a life, and I remember I started blaming my family, crying, helpless, weak, defenseless and in danger.. and there were times that I really wanted to resign and go back to the Philippines, but I just couldn't dare to stay at home, watching my poor family.

"If it wasn't because of my family as my inspiration, and have stayed longer for years and years, I wouldn't have met my husband and would have been leaving my family still unfortunate"...

However, God is already in control of our life's journey, He knows even before we were born, what will going to happen. All we have to do is pray and pray and pray....

This is exactly what did during those times... PRAYER is so powerful I tell you, and God made me even stronger!

I am a real survivor as a breadwinner, as a fighter!!

Are You Blessed Today?

This is one of the questions that actually has been taken for granted for so many people due to our busy lifestyles, and I am one of them. Well, it is far too quick to reply - only by just saying yes I am so blessed today, however, we also tend to forget the essence of this phrase.

What do I mean by this? Let me ask you one thing? Do you give thanks for everything, good or bad that happens to you everyday? Do you accept things that was given to you for a reason?

Difficult to answer it may seem, but let me share these with you my friends. This is also one of saying that "I am so blessed"...

If you wake up every morning with more health than illness... you are more blessed than the million who will not survive this week!

If you have food in your refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep....you are richer than 75% of this world!

If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish somewhere... you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy!

If your parents are still alive and married..... you are very rare, even in the United States and in Europe.

If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful... you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not.

If you prayed yesterday and today.... you are in the minority because you believe God does hear and answer prayers.

If you can read now, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read at all!

To all mums, if you are complaining to have loads of kids that are giving you problems and worries.... you are lucky to have than those who are still trying to have babies.

Another Weekend in the Middle of Nowhere

Oh I love Saturdays and Sundays here, this could mean a lot to me. First, It gives me plenty time to write posts, blogging, visit other blogs, make friends and make money of course. Why only Saturday's and Sunday's? Well, for obvious reason - everybody are so relaxed, no chasing away that things need to be done like during weekdays, you know what I mean?

Actually, we are having a party tonight, a birthday celebration of all July birthday celebrants which normally happens every last Saturday of every month or first Saturday of the following month whichever is closer. It's party time!!

Tomorrow Sunday, usual day for cooking and baking which my hubby loves it and the rest of our friends. Will think of interesting menu to cook.
