My Sister Is Looking for a Greener Pasture

She is my sister Ghie. She graduated from Adamson University Manila as a Computer Engineer! Apparently, she is one of my sisters whom I managed to send to university when I first came to Angola to work (when I was still young as 21 yrs of age!)...

Anyway, right after she graduated even without having any work experience locally, she applied for a job abroad - in Taiwan as a Repair Engineer/Technician, which she did manage to!!!... and off the record, she was also 21 years old when she first left Philippines (same age as me)! I should say that we are quite fortunate when it comes to applying for a job abroad! uuummmmm... My other sister next to her was the same too (I will blog separately about her)....

Then, she will be 27 years old this coming May 14 (still single)! In short, she has been working in the same company (High-Tech Computer Corp.) for almost 6 years now.

However, SHE WANTS A CHANGE!!! A change in work maybe and a change in country... While she already started her application for CANADA... If ever she'll ever be lucky and will eventually get a job there, it won't be difficult for her as we have loads of cousins living in Calgary. GOOD LUCK MY DEAR SISTER...

her second option would be, if Canada is not meant for her, she can come here in the UK to join me as family, and in due course, she can look for a job.

Great! Your such a hardworking Madz and very blessed because you have the courage to go for it and the skills! I admire you Madz and your sister for having been in such stage, for crossing the stage of struggles as a student and a daughter away from parents as well as a citizen away from a home country. Great job Madz and your sisters as well! Thumbs-up!

By the way, before I forgot you deserve to be a Queen of Blogs so here's an award for you: http://www.cacainadjourney.com/2009/04/queen-of-blogs-and-blogger-award.html

Have a fruitful and pleasant day Madz! Take care of baby Madz.. and regards me to her/him. muahhh!

You and your siblings are successful because you have the talent and courage to dare a new horizon. And I guess, you have been leading a good example for them to follow!

God bless you and your baby, Madz!

Yes, she's lucky to have landed that job in Taiwan. I was in Taiwan for 4 years [would have stayed longer if I didn't have to get married...hehe] and I met a lot of fellow Filipinos. Yung iba nag change names na to stay longer kasi there's only 3 yrs max for the factory workers and domestic helpers to stay in Taiwan at that time. Not sure now though....

Thanks for the visit Mommy Madz....
