20 Words To The Wise

In our journey in life, we are being told with lots of things and we tend to believe in the end, without realizing that it is merely just "us" who'll makes what we really are. List below are some of the few phrases, words of encouragement I have with me, which I wanted to share them to you. Hope these would make your day!

01. God wants spiritual fruit, not religious nuts.

02. Dear God: I have a problem. Sometimes, it's me.

03. Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional.

04. There is no key to happiness. The door is always open.

05. Silence is often misinterpreted, but never misquoted.

06. Do the math. Count your blessings.

07. Faith is the ability to not panic.

08. Laugh every day, it's like inner jogging.

09. If we worry, we probably didn't pray. If we pray, we probably don't worry.

10. As a child of God, prayer is kind of like calling home every day.

11. Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.

12. The most important things in our homes are the people.

13. When we get tangled up in our problems, be still. God wants us to be still so He can untangle the knots for us.

14. A grudge is a heavy thing to carry.

15. He who dies with the most toys is still dead. And who knows where he has gone?

16. We do not remember days, but moments. Life moves too fast, so enjoy your precious moments.

17. Nothing is real to you until we experience it, otherwise it's just hearsay.

18. It's all right to sit on our pity pot every now and again. Just be sure to flush when you are done.

19. Surviving and living our life successfully requires courage. The goals and dreams we seek require courage and risk-taking. Learn from the turtle -- it only makes progress when it sticks out its neck.

20. Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because our character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.

God you all and enjoy reading....

Being Ordinary Is A Gift

Sometimes we feel too much insecurity as to why people don't seem to see us, we don't seem has ever existed in their lives, and don't even recognized us sometimes. We even hide ourselves from them from time to time. Generally speaking, this is what we usually feel and our common reaction towards. Nevertheless, without realizing the favor it is giving to us! What I am trying to say is that, being us "as an ordinary people", keeps us away from trouble the fact that we are not always the target of these what we call "politicians", who loves making other people life's into a difficult situation, who likes seeing other people unhappy! Which makes them happy!!

It is not good for all our wishes to be filled; through sickness we recognize the value of health; through evil, the value of good; through hunger, the value of food; through exertion, the value of rest.

"Healing Zen"
Often we take for granted just being ordinary. We feel the constant pressure to compete, to excel, and to be special. The fact is most people are average with respect to any particular human characteristic. That is the definition of average, and yet many are not satisfied with the average or ordinary and tend to be discontent and always striving. It is a great relief and healing when you realize that just being ordinary and your ordinary life are wonderful gifts. When people are ill often they long to return to their ordinary life and to be able to do the things they ordinarily do like climbing a flight of stairs, going grocery shopping, or driving a car. Many times when I have taken care of young people with a serious illness like diabetes they've felt sad and frustrated because they had to stick to a special diet and take insulin while all the other kids could eat whatever they wanted and just be normal. They longed to be able to do ordinary things in life like go to school, get a job, get married and have a baby. Many worked very hard to accomplish these goals.

Zen practice helps you full appreciate your ordinary life. With awareness, the ordinary becomes extraordinary. You need to pay attention to what you are doing. Be one with each task, action, or thing. In this way you will discover your true nature and the true nature of each thing will shine through, illuminating everyday life. You will perceive the richness of life and feel blessed just to be an ordinary person.
